This 14" x 14" textile wall piece is entirely hand constructed, combining needle-turn appliqué, hand embroidery, and traditional hand quilting. A moth rests at the center, surrounded by a star and moon, with delicate embroidered star quilting scattered across the surface.
 
Quilted using Hawaiian techniques, the central design is outlined in stitches that echo outward in rippling rows, creating movement and depth all the way to the edge. The result is both graphic and organic — a celestial study in cloth.
